The 2025/26 Summer season will commence the weekend of Saturday 11th/Sunday 12th October 2025. There will be 15 rounds plus 2 rounds of finals.
There will be no games Melbourne Cup weekend (1st/2nd November 2025) or Labour Day weekend (7th/8th March 2026).

Team training sessions will commence the week of 6th October 2025. Most of our Coaches are volunteers who give up their time so children can play basketball. Behind the scenes, they put in a lot of work to plan training sessions in preparation for game day. It is the club’s expectation that all players attend each weekly training session to develop their skills as individuals and as a team.
2. BY-LAW CHANGES
The Player Point System for representative players has been reviewed for the upcoming Summer season. The 12-point cap will remain for each U12-U16 team; teams who exceed 12 points will not be permitted to enter the competition and will require changes to their player group.
For the upcoming Summer season, representative players are allocated a point value based on their representative team from the prior representative season. All U12-16 VJBL players must play in their current domestic age group.
