We are excited to announce that registrations for the Summer 2023-24 season are now open.

REGISTRATION
Registration is now open and will close on the 17 September 2023.
Please note that any requests to register after this date is at the discretion of the club and a place in a team will not be guaranteed. Please ensure you register by the due date. The PlayHQ platform manages the registration process & payments. If you have previously registered through PlayHQ please ensure that you use the same account to register this time. If you are new you will need to create a PlayHQ account.

REGISTRATION FEES
The club registration fee for this season is $295. Early bird registration will get a discount of $20 if you register before Monday 28 August! The registration fee covers all regular season games - not finals*.
There are 15 rounds in this upcoming season. Families with 2 or more children with the club will receive an 8% discount for the 2nd and subsequent children.
*There are further team fees for teams that make finals.

Volunteer coaches - will receive a reimbursement of 50% off one club registration fee. This fee reduction will be applied after an appropriate volunteer coach is allocated to a team. We as a club highly encourage parents to volunteer as a coach and as always great support is provided to our coaches.
BASKETBALL VICTORIA ANNUAL LICENCE FEE
Each junior player is charged a $29 annual fee directly to Basketball Victoria. This fee covers player’s insurance for any basketball competition played in Victoria at any time in 12 months.
If you have previously paid the fee within the last 12 months you will not be charged the fee if you use the same PlayHQ account to register.
McKINNON ASSOCIATION FEE
MBA are charging a player registration fee of $90. This is the door entry for Junior players for the season as well as venue entry for an unlimited number of spectators. This will be a line item on PlayHQ which every Junior player will pay on registration.
Please note that this fee covers only the games in the regular season and does not include the finals rounds.
PAYMENT METHOD
PlayHQ will accept payment by credit/debit card payable at time of registration. If you are unable to pay with this payment method, or if you need assistance with payment, please email

COACHES AND TEAM MANAGERS
All coaches and team managers are required to register through PlayHQ so you can be allocated to your team. There is no fee associated with this. These roles are vital to making our club and teams a success, please consider putting your hand up to support our players in what is a great fun and fulfilling contribution to our community. All volunteers over the age of 18 MUST have a current WWCC, these are free to obtain. Go to: Working with Children Check | Victorian Government (www.vic.gov.au) to find out how to obtain one.
SUMMER 2023/2024 SEASON DETAILS
This season will run over term four of 2023 and term one of 2024 with no games in school holidays or on long weekends. All boys up to U18 will play on Saturday and all girls and U20 boys will play on Sunday.

No Games 18th Dec 2023 – 29th Jan 2024
No games 9th –11th March 2024
Grading takes place in the first 4 weeks of the season where your team may be moved divisions. Every effort is made by Warriors to enter teams in the appropriate division that maximises enjoyment & competition, noting that the association ultimately determine placings.

AGE CHANGE SEASON
With change into summer season many players will move up to an older age group. This may affect whole teams or part of teams. Age group coordinators are happy to guide any families with this transition.
